To Tell the Tales of Griffins:
Memoir with Saab Cars

To explore and preserve my personal connection to a brand that no longer exists, I created To Tell the Tales of Griffins: Memoir with Saab Cars—a book that reimagines memories through an alternative storytelling method. By portraying vehicles and objects as humanoid characters, I craft a fictional yet emotionally resonant universe where real-life events are woven into an imaginative world. Each character’s design reflects personal experiences, transforming memories into unique visual and narrative forms.

Nautical Miles
Inspired by the stencil type paint on sailing boats, I combine the stecil type with my own handwriting to form this unique type. By seperating each strokes of the writing, the font still keeps a handwritten style while the extra cut of each letter strenthen the structure of the glyph, making it possibly easier to cut on physical materials.
